Steeleville – Nancy J. Knop, 66, of Steeleville, passed away January 3, 2021, at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL.

Nancy was born June 7, 1954 in Chester, IL to Walter L. and Annette (Duensing) Appuhn.  She married Clifford A. Knop on February 5, 1972 at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL.  Nancy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL. She was a retired Manager of Steeleville Eagles, member of the Steeleville Eagles Auxiliary and a homemaker. Nancy's biggest loves was her family, Cardinal baseball, and Mickey Mouse.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Clifford A. Knop of Steeleville, IL, Children; Angie Wittenborn of Percy, IL, and Chad Knop of Steeleville, IL, four Grandchildren, and one Sister, Jeanette (Ronald) McDonald of Steeleville, IL,

Nancy was preceded in death by her Parents, and one Sister, Sharon Appuhn.

It was Nancy's wishes for Cremation and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.   Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville or Steeleville Fire Department/First Responders and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
