SPARTA, Nadine M. Brown, 56, of Sparta, passed away at 4:30 PM Sunday, November 9, 2014, at her home in Sparta, Illinois. She was born January 14, 1958 in Chester, Illinois the daughter of Kenneth W. and Estma (Ruebke) Meyerhoff. Nadine married Thomas B. Brown IV on September 16, 1985 in Hawaii. He passed away on October 17, 2007. Nadine was the retired owner of the PAIR-A-DICE Pawn Shop in Sparta, IL. She attended the Sparta Christian Church in Sparta, IL. She is survived by a brother, Allen and Kerry Meyerhoff of Makanda, IL; Niece: Emalee Meyerhoff; Nephew: Allen Meyerhoff, Jr.; Niece: Katie Meyerhoff and Robert Walls; Step Nephew: Ryan and Marissa McKee and son, Colton. Nadine is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Gerald Meyerhoff. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sparta Christian Church with Pastor Eric Rapp officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9AM and then from 10 to 11AM at the church. Memorials may be made to Sparta Christian Church Building Fund.
