GORHAM, Minnie Cowin, 88, of Gorham, passed away at 8:45 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at her home in Gorham, IL. She was born April 14, 1923 in Royalton, Illinois the daughter of Joseph Glodo and Lora (Welcherer) Glodo. Minnie married Robert Charles Cowin on July 8, 1941 in Perryville, MO. Robert passed away on December 14, 1998 She is survived by her sister: Marie Moore of Herrin, IL; niece: Angela Beisner of Murphysboro, IL; special friend Becky Bruce of Carbondale, IL; many nieces and nephews. Also a thank you to her neighbor Edna Rambeau of Gorham, IL. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents. She was a Homemaker in her home. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and of the Catholic Faith. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Glenn Cemetery in Jacob. Burial will be at Glenn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Glenn Cemetery Fund, American Cancer Association, or American Heart Association.
