PINCKNEYVILLE - Mildred S. Wolfe, 99, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 7:30 am, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her home in Pinckneyville. Mildred was born in Lenzburg, IL on November 6, 1913, the daughter of Albert and Ella Waeltz Frazer. She married George Wolfe on May 28, 1938 in Commerce, MO. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1981. Mildred was the retired owner of Frazer Truck Lines, she assisted her Father with Frazer Red & White Grocery in Pinckneyville and she also worked at Pinckneyville High School. Mildred was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville; the daughter of the Nile for 25 years; 60 plus year member of the Eastern Star; Thursday afternoon Bridge Club; and Ainad Belles. She was a Pinckneyville Citizen of the Year. Mildred had traveled to all 50 states and has been to Africa, Australia, Europe and South America. Mildred is survived by her granddaughters, Mindy (Dave) Heins of Rockwood, IL and Bev (Homer) Bates of Ava; great grandchildren, Ben & Emily Bates, Chase & Hayleigh Heins, and Lawson Moritz; sister, Alberta McDaniel of Pinckneyville; sister-in-law, Annabell Sauer of Murphysboro; several nieces and nephews; and special care giver, Tina Heumann. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Georgia Moritz; one grandson, David Moritz; son-in-law, Richard E. Moritz; two brothers, Allan A. Frazer and Walter R. Frazer; and one sister, Edith Alice Frazer. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville with Rev. Cindy Bean officiating. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Visitation will be the church on Saturday from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to TIP Hospice. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava.
