WALSH - Mildred M. Witbart, 79, of Walsh, IL, passed away at 4:05 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester, IL. Mildred was born in Walsh, IL on April 29, 1932 the daughter of Everett D. and Frieda M. Beckman Rickenberg. She married Paul Witbart at Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh. He preceded her in death in January of 1984. Mildred was a retired state worker from Fox Center in Dwight, IL. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh. Mildred is survived by her daughter June; one grandson, David Wilkey of Walsh; and four sisters, Evangeline Wahlman of Walsh, Marlene Edwards of Walsh, Donna Weiser of Walsh and Alice Gamble of Walsh. Mildred was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, seven brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville with Rev. Harold H. Weber officiating. Burial will be in the McDowell Cemetery in Dwight, IL with a graveside service on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Friday. The preferred form of remembrance are memorials to Zion Lutheran Church.
