PINCKNEYVILLE, Mildred M. "Midge" Vaughn, 86, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 3:10 P.M. Saturday, June 04, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, IL. Mildred was born April 01, 1925 in Ava, Illinois the daughter of Don M. Williamson and Murtie (Wirtz) Williamson. She married Edward D. Kujawa on November 8, 1944 at Chester, IL, he preceded her in death on December 29, 1983. She then married George C. Vaughn in 1975 and he passed away in 1975. She was an active member of the Roe's Dale Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, IL. Mildred was a retired LPN from Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Mildred is survived by four children, Glenna Sue Garbis of Chicago, IL, Ronald (Vicki) Kujawa of Murphysboro, IL, David Lee Kujawa of Murphysboro, IL and Jeffrey Dale Kujawa of Pinckneyville, IL; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Mildred was also preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers, Gale and Glen Williamson; and one sister, Helen Stout. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Paul Williamson and Rev. Charles Smith officiating Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Monday from 6 to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 7:30 am until 10 am. Memorials may be made to Roe's Dale Baptist Church.
