Obituary
STEELEVILLE – Mildred M. "Millie" Luehr, 91, of Steeleville, passed away at 11:22 pm, Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta.
Mildred was born in Willisville, on November 4, 1925, the daughter of William H. and Edna Meyerhoff Rabe. She married Homer A. Luehr on March 12, 1945 at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2005. Mildred was a Homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville and the American Legion Auxiliary #1145, Percy.
Mildred is survived by one son, Terry (Carol) Luehr, Steeleville; three grandchildren, Lora (Kerry) Wolters, Sarah (Mike) Brennfleck and T.J. (Denise) Luehr; five great grandchildren, Loran Mary (Chris) Morris, Kaylee Emma Luehr, Gus Higgins, Harry Higgins, and Briar Luehr; one brother, William E. (Yvonne) Rabe of Chester; and one sister, Katie (Ardell) Rieckenberg of Steeleville.
Mildred was preceded in death by her Parents; one brother, Wilbert Rabe; three sisters, Lucille Beck, Edna Mueller and Margaret Schaber.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, with Rev. S. Blake Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church.
