CAMPBELL HILL – Mildred A. Kuhlman, 95, of Campbell Hill, Illinois, formerly of Ava, Illinois, passed away at 12:02 am, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, Illinois.
Mildred was born in Covington, Illinois on October 13, 1920, the daughter of Theodore and Ida Borgeding Pries. She married William Henry Kuhlman on December 15, 1943 at Covington, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2000. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill and the Lutheran Women Missionary League.
Mildred is survived by her children, William T. (Sharon) Kuhlman of Campbell Hill and Betty (Willard) Cox, Jr. of Schaumburg, IL; grandchildren, Capt. Willard J. Cox III, Mitchell S. Cox, Marcus A. Kuhlman and Jason M. Kuhlman; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Pries of Covington, IL.
Mildred was also preceded in death by her Parents; one granddaughter, Julia R. Kuhlman-Cunningham; two sisters; and one infant brother.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Campbell Hill. Visitation will be at St. Peter Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church Roof Repair Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
