WILLISVILLE – Mickie L. Pogue, 66, of Hammond, Indiana, formerly of Willisville, passed away at home on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Mickie was born in Chester, Illinois, on January 30, 1955, the daughter of Edgar Alvin and Velma Ann Schoenberg Edwards.  She was a retired Security Therapy Aid from Chester Mental Health.

Mickie was survived by two daughters, Ame (Matt) Fraembs of Willisville and Tanya (Jason) Pope of Hammond, IN; grandchildren, Daltyn (Mariah) Becker, Mickaela (Trent) Ogilvie, Ahmber Fraembs (Eian Sickles), and Brantley Fraembs; great grandson, Braxton Ogilvie, and two more great grandchildren arriving soon; sister, Sharon Kay Adams of Munster, IN; and her beloved dog, Coco.

Mickie was preceded in death by her Parents; one sister, Vickie Edwards; and one brother, Eddie Edwards.

Funeral services will be held 7 pm, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Minister Deb Rathert officiating. Friends may call from 4 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL.  Memorials may be given to the family.
