MURPHYSBORO – Michael Lee White, 54, of Murphysboro passed away at 5:24 AM, Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Sand Ridge.

Michael was born on March 10, 1966, in Murphysboro, the son of Bobbie Dean, Sr. and Mary Lou (Fehringer) White. Michael worked at the T.G. Plant in Perryville, Missouri and was a member of the Sand Ridge Baptist Church, Sand Ridge.

Michael is survived by his son; Kodi Ruble, of Jacob, grandchildren; Karson Ruble, Rigdon Bryant, Kinsley Ruble, his parents; Bobbie and Mary Lou White, of Sand Ridge, brother; Bobbie White, Jr., of Sand Ridge, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ivan "Buck" and Lena Fehringer; paternal grandparents: Virgil "Peck" and Violet White; Aunt Janet Taylor and Aunt Joyce Darnstaedt; and Uncle Gene White.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Murdale Gardens of Memory, Murphysboro, with Rev. Tim Olson officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date. Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava is assisting the family with the arrangements.
