WILLISVILLE – Melvin D. Creech, 82, of Willisville passed away at 11:55 AM, Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Autumn Meadows of Cahokia, in Cahokia, Illinois.

Melvin was born on February 10, 1938, in Dowell, the son of Cecil and Josephine (Liska) Creech. Mr. Creech was in the Army after the Korea Conflict, he was a machinist by trade, and a member of the Lighthouse Church, in Sparta.

Melvin is survived by a brother; Bob Creech, of Willisville, 2 sons; Edward (Meta) Creech, of Willisville, Steve (Linda) Creech, of Willisville, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Creech is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother; Edward Creech.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private graveside services will be held at the Old DuQuoin Cemetery, DuQuoin, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and can be mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, Illinois 62907.
