CHESTER – Megan A. Marcinkowska, 25, of Creve Coeur, Missouri, formerly of Chester, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Jacob, Illinois.

Megan was born in Chester, on September 23, 1993, the daughter of Robert J. and Linda K. Bockhorn Marcinkowska.  Megan was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville.  She was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis on Neuro Trauma ICU – 4 ^th Floor.  Megan was a graduate of SIU-E - School of Nursing.  Megan was proud to have received the Daisy Award, adding that to her nursing bucket list of accomplishments.

Megan is survived by her parents, Bob and Linda Marcinkowska of Chester; brother, Ross Marcinkowska (Emily Stefani) of Washington, MO; and maternal grandparents, Willard and Lavern Bockhorn of Sparta.

Megan is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, with Minister Deb Rathert officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Chester.  Visitation will be at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 11 am.  The preferred form of remembrance are donations to Murray Parent and Friends Association in Centralia, Illinois or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
