COBDEN – Marylinn H. Bute, 81, of Cobden, Illinois, passed away at 2:40 pm, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Union County Hospital, Anna, Illinois.

Marylinn was born in Rockford, Illinois, on July 20, 1937, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Smith Bute.  She was a member of Central Christian Church, Rockford, Illinois.

Marylinn is survived by one sister, Janet Galbreath of Ava; two nephews, Forrest Snavely of Rockford, IL and Walter Galbreath of Ava; one niece, Wilda Jessup of Colorado; great nephew, Eric Snavely; two nieces, Faith and Cora.

Marylinn was preceded in death by her Parents; and sister, Florence Lenox.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Willwood Burial Park, Rockford, Illinois, with Rev. Sherm Nichols officiating.  Burial will follow.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava.
