AVA, Mary Juliett Rader, 88, of Ava, passed away at 7:30 PM Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois. She was born January 16, 1924 in Ava, Illinois the daughter of Grover Lee and Gladys Ruth (Talbott) Bower. Juliett married Jake Rader on June 11, 1949 in Chester, Illinois. He passed away on September 13, 1975. Juliett was retired from Cal-Crest Jacket Factory in Murphysboro, IL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ava, IL She is survived by 3 brothers: John Bower, Cape Girardeau, MO; Glen Bower, Ava, IL; and Steven Bower, Ava, IL; 3 sisters: Emma Lois Taylor, Murphysboro , IL; Carolyn Rogers ,Grand Junction, CO and Vivian Franklin, Farmington, MO. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Minnie Huffman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Wilsons Funeral Home Ava, Illinois with Rev. Francis Bartley officiating. Burial will follow at Bower Cemetery, Ava, IL. Visitation will be at Wilsons Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM The preferred form of remembrance is contributions to Bower Cemetery
