STEELEVILLE – Mary Ann Milavec, 71, of Steeleville passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mary Ann was born on October 6, 1946, in Chester, the daughter of James Edward and Mary Frances (Caraway) Beam. She married Daniel E. Milavec on November 25, 1974, in Joliet, Illinois, and they shared 43 years of marriage. Mary Ann was a retired LPN, and a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, in Percy.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband; Daniel E. Milavec, of Steeleville, son; Daniel E. Milavec, Jr., of Joliet, Illinois, daughter; Barbara A. Milavec, of Steeleville, step daughter; Kimberly Zeman, of Rockdale, Illinois, granddaughter; Amy M. Talmadge, of Lockport, Illinois, great grandson; Jesse Farr, of Lockport, Illinois. She is also survived by 3 brothers; Kenneth E. Beam, of Chester, Richard Stirnaman, of Dwight, Illinois, Scott Stirnaman, of Joliet, Illinois, 2 sisters; Linda Maffeo, of Joliet, Illinois, Patricia Paris, of Joliet, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Milavec was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, and her stepfather.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, August 10, 2018, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke, officiating, burial will follow at the Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning at the funeral home where friends may call from 9 to 11 AM.
