STEELEVILLE – Mary Ann Lyons, 79, of Steeleville, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Steeleville, IL.

Mary Ann was born June 23, 1942, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Richard and Sara L. Granger Cole.  She married James R. Lyons on November 28, 1959, in Carrollton, GA.  James preceded her in death on January 3, 1994. Mary Ann was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

Mary Ann is survived her children: Tony Lyons of Walsh, IL, Tammy Boyer of Willisville, IL, Shannon (James) Kinney of Coulterville, IL; grandchildren; Rachel A. Garniss, Kalin W. & Emilie Lyons, Melissa N. Lyons, Shelly R. & Tyler Hunter, Minta & Steve Morrison, Megan & Isaac Chandler, Amy Boyer (Scott), James Boyer (Jessica), Daran & Sara Lyons, Kimberly Lyons, Josh Martin, Doran & Sara Lyons, Kimberly Lyon, and Joshua Martin; eighteen great grandchildren, sisters: Kathy Fountain, Linda Cole; brother, Louis Cole, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann is also preceded in death by her parents, brother, William, sisters, Willa May and Rosie, son-in-law, Mike Boyer, grandchildren: Bethany, Dacia and two infants.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Tom Klansing officiating.  Burial to follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6-8 pm.  Memorials may be given to Shriners' or St. Jude's Children's Hospital and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
