PERCY – Mary M. Beckett, 72, of Percy, passed away at 2:34 pm, on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Three Springs Lodge in Chester.

Mary was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 25, 1946, the daughter of the late John L. and Ruth L. Winckowski Oliver.  She married Jesse Lee Beckett in April of 1963 in St. Louis, MO.  He preceded her in death on April 18, 1973.  She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Mary is survived by her children, Richard Beckett of St. Louis, MO and Denise Owens of Percy; grandchildren, T.J. Owens, Lindy Miller, Lissa Lake, Caleb Owens, Ezekiel Owens, Isabel Owens, Abigail Owens; 15 great grandchildren; and siblings, William Winckowski of St. Louis, MO, Nancy Jo Oliver of Rockford, IL, and Shirley Ann Oliver of Pinckneyville, IL

Mary was also preceded in death by her Parents.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava.  Burial will follow in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 11 am until 2 pm on Friday.
