CAMPBELL HILL – Marvin F. Lampe, 90, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 9:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta.

Marvin was born in Campbell Hill, on October 19, 1929, the son of Fred W. and Lillie Knop Lampe.  He married Barbara E. Luehr on August 25, 1950, in Campbell Hill.  She preceded him in death on July 12, 2017.  Marvin was a veteran of the US Army.  He was a Farmer and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, and the American Legion Post #1096, Campbell Hill.

Marvin is survived by one son, Don (Susan) Lampe of Sparta; grandchildren, Alissa Mendenhall and Matthew Lampe; great granddaughter, Emma Mendenhall; and sister, Frances Bollmann.

Marvin was also preceded in death by his Parents; two sons, Dale Lee Lampe and Gary Lyn Lampe; two brothers, Olin Lampe and Frederick Lampe; and half brother, Albert Schuette.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 9 am until 10 am.  Memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
