ELKVILLE - Marjorie L. Walker, 59, of Elkville, IL, passed at 5:20 am, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at her home. Marjorie was born in Morris, IL on September 30, 1952 the daughter of William Melvin and Margie Moore Jones. She married Rodney J. Walker on August 6, 1992 in Murphysboro, IL. Marjorie was a retired CNA. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Vergennes. Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Dianna (Alan) Bennett of Benton, IL, Angela (Jennifer Adkins) Rogers of Murphysboro; four sons, Robert (Tracy) Melton of Elkville, IL, Donald Lee Melton of Benton, IL, Brian Walker of Murphysboro, Nikolas Walker of Centralia, IL; 8 grandchildren, Brittany (Riddle) Barnett, Michael Riddle, Angel Melton, Leroy Melton, Robert Melton II, Dustin Rogers, Cristian Rogers, Alex Rogers; 2 great grandchildren, Braxton Singleton and Clayton Barnett; three sisters, Melva Bennett of Benton, IL, Opal Spani of Benton, IL and Gloria Barnfield of West City, IL; two brothers, Ralph (Beth) Jones of West City, IL and Donald Jones of Benton, IL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was loved by all. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Ronald Dean Riddle III and one brother, Paul Jones. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Vergennes with Rev. Angie Baughman officiating. Burial will follow in Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes. Visitation will be held at Faith United Methodist from 6 to 8 pm Sunday and on Monday from 10 to 11 am. Memorials may be made to the Family. Funeral is under auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava.
