WALSH, Marion Hartman, 83, of Walsh, passed away at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at her home in Walsh, IL. She was born April 14, 1926 in Steeleville, Illinois the daughter of Fletcher Zang and Lena (Wilson) Zang. Marion married Harvey L. Hartman on October 20, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He passed away on November 4, 1998. Marion was a retried secretary from Egyptian Electric Coop and from Sparta School District. She was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, Illinois and the senior citizens of Sparta, IL. She is survived by her daughter: Ann Hartman Albers of Walsh, IL; five grandchildren: Laura and Matt Allwardt, Gene Hartman, Paul and Jill Albers, Kate Albers, and Joel and Kelsey Albers; five great grandchildren: Greg Hartman, Max Allwardt, Mason, Layne and Terra Albers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, David Hartman, and one brother, Wilson Zang. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh. Rev. Harold Weber will be officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday from 5 to 8pm and then on Sunday from 1 to 2pm at the church as well. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home of Steeleville, IL. Memorials may be made to the family their distribution to Marion's favorite charities.
