HERRIN – Marilyn M. Ridings, 74, of Herrin, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin.

Marilyn was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, on July 18, 1946, the daughter of William and Eula Qualls Bastien.  She married Harold W. Ridings on December 18, 1965 at Harard Hills, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on July 1, 2004.  She was a Homemaker.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ridings of Jackson, TN; two grandchildren, Craig Ridings and Makyah Varnum; and siblings, Carolyn Clober, Sharon Hartline, Sandra Shroud, Donald Bastien, Terry Bastien, Michael Bastien and Gilbert Bastien.

Marilyn was also preceded in death by her Parents; one daughter, Maria Ridings; brother, Robert Bastien; and sisters, Beverly Fager, Delores McCarver, Debra Bastien and Donna Bastien.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 21, 2020, at Pleasant Hill Christian Cemetery, Murphysboro, with Donald Bastien officiating.  Burial will follow.  Face masks and social distancing will be required.  Memorials may be given to the Family.
