JACOB – Marilyn Ann Guetersloh, 81, of Jacob, passed away at 3:50 pm, Friday, November 29, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Marilyn was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, on December 10, 1942, the daughter of Martin H. and Emelia Koch Guetersloh. She was a retired Bank Teller and Nurse's Aid. Marilyn was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob.

Marilyn is survived by her brothers, Marvin (Ginger) Guetersloh of Murphysboro and Carl (Peggy) Guetersloh of Mission, TX; and she was a loving Aunt to Many Nieces and Nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her Parents; one brother, Roy Martin Guetersloh; and two sisters, Maxine Hearell and Geraldine Reams.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob, with Rev. Gunner Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Gorham, IL. Visitation will be at Christ Lutheran Church, Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 11 am until 1 pm. Memorials be given to St. Francis Animal Rescue.
