STEELEVILLE, Marie A. Schaack, 92, of Steeleville, passed away at 4:30 A.M. Saturday, October 30, 2010, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born June 19, 1918 in Chester, Illinois the daughter of Lawrence K. Paulus and Mamie (Stoever) Paulus. Marie married Clemens A. Schaack on February 11, 1950. Clemens passed away on June 3, 1999. She is survived by her sister: Geraldine Blincoe of St. Charles, MO and a number of nieces and nephews. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers. Mrs. Schaack worked as the bookkeeper at Schaack's Hardware in Steeleville, IL. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Willisville , St. Joseph Sodality, and the B.B.K. American Legion Auxiliary Post #480 Steeleville, IL. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Willisville. Father Leo Hayes will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 5-8 PM with Rosary recited at 8pm on Sunday. Then on Monday from 7:30 to 9:45. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
