CAMPBELL HILL, Marie Knop, 89, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 9:20 A.M. Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, IL. She was born April 22, 1919 in Cutler, Illinois the daughter of Arthur A. Kueker and Alma (Haberman) Kueker. She married George A. Knop on January 29, 1941 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2000. Marie was a homemaker and also a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL. She is survived by her children: Marilyn and Fred Lewis of Marissa, IL, Patricia and Glenn Oliphant of Gansevoort, NY, Sharon and Bill Kuhlman of Campbell Hill, IL, Susan and Steven Malone of Marion, IL, Debra and James Michael Richmond of Cutler, IL; Fifteen grandchildren, Twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. Rev. Raymond Barclay will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday from 7:30 am till 9am and then from 10 to 11am of the church. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Memorial Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
