WILLISVILLE – Marie E. Giordano, 88, of Willisville, passed away at 2:05 am, Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Marie was born in Willisville, on March 7, 1931, the daughter of Martin and Rosalie Bellecia Giordano. Marie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Willisville and St. Joseph Altar Sodality.

Marie is survived by two sisters, Rose Clough of Murphysboro and Clarlyn Giordano of Willisville; Several Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Great Nephews; and Great Great Nieces and Great Great Nephews, including Chris McRoy and Cathy Crain; and three caregivers, Juli McRoy, Britni Pritchett, and Sandy Crow.

Marie was preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers, Martin, Jr. and Frank Giordano; three sisters, Ann Riggio, Angie Grove and Frances McRoy.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, with Shery Williams officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Willisville, at a later date. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 pm until 7 pm Sunday. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
