STEELEVILLE - Margaret A. "Peggy" Wilson, 73, of Steeleville, passed away at 1:36 pm, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital in Chester. Margaret was born in Chester, Illinois on September 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Dorothy Zimmer. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville and the Steeleville Eagles. Peggy was retired from the Lab at Gilster Mary Lee Corporation. She is survived by two sons, Kellen (Martiza) Wilson of Island Lake, IL and Frank (Jan) Wilson of Steeleville; step daughter, Debbie Dudley of Hardin, KY; daughter-in-law, Beverly VanOver of Campbell Hill; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and one aunt, Irene Zimmer of Steeleville. Peggy was preceded in death by her Mother; one son, Randy VanOver; one brother, Charles Greene; and one special aunt, Audrey McIntyre. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. Kelly Bedard officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
