PINCKNEYVILLE - Madge B. Hutchison, 94, of Pinckneyville, formerly of Percy, IL, passed away at 3:20 pm, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL. Madge was born in Pinckneyville, IL on October 8, 1918, the daughter of Marion Clyde and Maggie May Carter Benedict. She married John R. Hutchison on December 16, 1939 at Perryville, MO, he preceded her in death on December 18, 1981. Madge was a homemaker, a retired factory worker, and worked for the Pinckneyville School in the Cafe. She was a member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville. Madge is survived by her son, Keith Hutchison of Austin, TX, his wife, Karen Hutchison, who is a granddaughter of Walter and Hattie Fiene; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Madge is also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert; one grandson, Corie Dale; four brothers; and four sisters. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Roger Long officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to Macular Degeneration Research.
