CUTLER, M. Darlene Crum, 73, of Cutler, passed away at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her home in Cutler, Illinois. She was born May 1, 1939 in Red Lakes Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Arthur and Mira (St. Maire) Lizotte. Darlene married Harold D. Crum on Saturday, May 11, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Darlene was the former owner and operator of Darlene's Diner in Steeleville, IL for many years. She was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her husband: Harold D Crum, Cutler, IL; 2 daughters: Cindy (David) McDonald, Cutler, IL, Connie (Mark) Mehnken, Perryville, MO; 3 sons: Jerry Crum, Cutler, IL, Randy (Sundi) Crum, Hamburg, AR, Darrell (Terri) Crum, Chester, IL; 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Darlene is also survived by 3 sisters: Marceline DeSautel, Fargo, ND; Rea Jean Brunton, Eugene, OR and Delores Crane, Billings, MT and one brother, Francis Lizotte, Red Lake Falls, MN Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joseph Crum and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, IL with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, IL on Monday from 5 to 8pm and on Tuesday from 7:30am to time of service. The preferred form of remembrance is contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
