PERCY – Lottie Marie Rubach, 89, of Percy, passed away at 3:30 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois.
Lottie was born in Ellis Grove, Illinois on August 17, 1926, the daughter of Walter A. and Ora Lee Meredith Barnes. She married Paul H. Rubach on November 2, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri. Lottie was a Homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Percy. She loved to quilt and crochet. She loved all of her grandchildren and to cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Lottie is survived by her husband, Paul H. Rubach of Percy; one son, Wayne (Deborah) Rubach of Effingham, IL; one daughter, Cindy Sue (Mark) Prange of Percy; four grandchildren, Tyler (Lindsay) Rubach, Holly Dunderdale (Fiancee, Tyler A. Holton), Brad Clark (Fiancee, Amanda Wunderlich), and Tricia (Michael) Burns; two step grandchildren, Emily Prange and Lori Prange; seven great grandchildren, AnnEilise Dunderdale, Anisley Dunderdale, Hayden Burns, Edie Marie Burns, Wyatt Burns, William Rubach and Henry Rubach; and two sisters, Doris Boyer of Florissant, MO and Martha Rikand of St. Louis, MO.
Lottie is preceded in death by her Parents; four brothers; five sisters; and one great granddaughter, Sophia Rubach.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm to 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until 1 pm. Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Percy.
