JACOB – Lornie Hollmann, 90, of Jacob, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at home.

Lornie was born on June 21, 1935, the daughter of Charles and Ida Luedeman Fritsche. She married Ralph S. Hollmann on June 27, 1953, at Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2019. Lornie was a retired Deputy Treasurer from Jackson County Treasurers Office, having worked from December 1, 1970 to April 30, 1998. In later years, she also worked as a Real Estate Agent for Heins Realty.  Lornie was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob. She was a member of the Dorcas Society at Christ Lutheran Church and the Illinois County Treasurers' Association. Lornie won several first place awards in the Apple Pie Contest at the Apple Festival.

Lornie is survived by one son, Ken (Carol) Hollmann of Gorham; two daughters, Teresa (JD) Stroud of Odin, IL and Marcia Hollmann of Oakville, MO; grandchildren, Christa Fuhrhop, Cheryl (Adam) Kirsch, Corey (Liz) Fuhrhop, Kent (Heather) Hollmann, Jamie (Stephen) Roberts, Brandi (Doug) Bitner, and Nicole (Chad) Lipe; great grandchildren, Elijah Kirsch, Devin Kirsch, Derrek Bitner, Kaitlyn Bitner, Lora Bitner, Nash Lipe, Emberly Lipe, and Isabelle Roberts.

Lornie was also preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers, Erwin and Raymond Fritsche; and one sister, Dorothy Fritsche Verseman.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob with Rev. Gunnar Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Gorham. Visitation will be at Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob on Friday, from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church.
