CHESTER – Lorine Hartmann Dierks, 94, of Chester, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL.

Lorine was born January 29, 1928, in Campbell Hill, IL, to Sig and Anna (Casten) Haberman. She married Melben Hartmann on May 28, 1949, in Campbell Hill, IL, he preceded her in death on April 13, 1981, she then married Arvel K. Dierks on August 5, 1990, in Chester, IL, he preceded her in death on May 26, 1994. Lorine was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bremen, IL.

Lorine is survived by her children: Dale (Jamie) Hartmann of Chester, IL, Karen Kranz of Chester, IL; five grandchildren: Kristie (Tyler) Bradley, Jay Kranz, Andrea (Mikey) Baughman, Elise (Kevin) Knop, James (Tereena) Hartmann; and ten great grandchildren.

Lorine is also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, one son-in-law, Clark Kranz, and one great granddaughter Emily Mae Kranz.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 2, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bremen, IL, with Rev. Ron Coleman officiating. Burial to follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Bremen, IL. Friends and family may call from 12 - 2 pm, Monday, at the church.
