STEELEVILLE – Loriena Anna Ebers, 91, of Steeleville passed away at 8:50 PM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Coulterville Care Center.

Loriena was born on February 9, 1929, in Coulterville the daughter of Herman and Marie (Rabe) Mayer. She married Arnold W.C. Ebers, on August 20, 1949 at Lost Prairie and they shared nearly 35 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on August 8, 1984. Loriena had worked at Sparta Printing, Gilster Mary Lee and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville.

Loriena is survived by her children; Linda (Leon) Ward, of Cedar Bluffs, Alabama, Bill (Barbara) Ebers, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steve (Dorothy) Ebers, of Gaylesville, Alabama, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother; Herman W. Mayer, Jr., of Steeleville, 2 sisters; Verna Beck, of St. Louis, Missouri, Erna May Salger, of Steeleville.

Mrs. Ebers was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Karen Williams, son; Earl Ebers, brother; Lloyd Mayer, sisters; Virginia Mayer, and Marion Roethlesberger.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be private graveside services held at the Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, with Rev. Mark Harriss officiating. Memorial may be made in Loriena's name to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to ALS and can be mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, PO box 217, Steeleville, Illinois 62288.
