Obituary

Loren Wayne "Rover" Roche, 61 of Ellis Grove, died at 3:20 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, surrounded by family.

Rover was born October 15, 1957 in Red Bud to Logan and Elizabeth Junger Roche. Rover was a member of the Catholic faith. He worked as a laborer for over 40 years, belonging to Labor Local 925 and 459. He was a member of the Randolph County Coon Club and one of the founding fathers and organizers of that association. He was an avid hunter and an exceptional hunting dog trainer.

Rover is survived by his children, Brandi (Damon) DeRousse of Red Bud Dustin (Jessie) Roche of Steeleville. Grandsons, Lane Brockmeyer, Weston Brockmeyer and Ryder Roche sisters; Pat (Bill) Frazer of Evansville, Linda Carter of Chester brothers; Logan (Jann) Roche of Ellis Grove Kenny (Sherry) Roche of Ellis Grove Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Roche was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the New Palestine Methodist Church, Chester, with Deacon Al DuBois officiating, burial will follow at the New Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning at the church where friends may call from 8:30 AM to 11 AM. Memorials may be made to a Love fund for The Family. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
