AVA - Lois Jane Rath, 81, of Roanoke, Texas, formerly of Ava, Illnois, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at The Harrison at the Heritage Trace Parkway, Fort Worth, TX. Lois Jane was born in Cora, Illinois on September 18, 1933, the daughter of Dave and Carrie K. Jarrett Easton. She married Leo Clinton Rath on December 4, 1953 at Murphysboro, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2010. She was a Homemaker. Lois Jane is survived by one son, David (Cheryl) Rath of Fort Worth, TX; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Brauen of Justin, TX and Eric Rath of Port St. John, FL; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Cooper, and Tinley Brauen; one sister, Jewell Ripley of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Lois Jane was also preceded in death by her Parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. James Easton officiating. Burial will follow at Glenn Cemetery, Rockwood, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, where friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to ALS.
