JERSEYVILLE – Lindsay A. Blair, 39, formerly of Sparta, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.

Lindsay was born on December 19, 1984, in Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of Gerald B. and Gail A. (Weber) McElroy. Lindsay was the General Manager of the Grafton Oyster Bar, Grafton, IL. She was a member of LifechurchX, Jerseyville, IL, and was very active in the youth ministry. Lindsay loved spending time with her family, the family farm, and her work family. She will be remembered as the face of Grafton Oyster Bar.

Lindsay is survived by her daughter, Sailor Blair of Jerseyville, IL, her father and stepmother, Gerald and Carolyn McElroy of Sparta, IL, her mother, Gail McElroy of Sparta, IL, her siblings: Hillary Clark of Pinckneyville, IL, Matthew (Emily) McElroy of Sparta, IL, her nieces and nephews: Easton, Able, and Sawyer Clark, Eli, Stella and Nora McElroy.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Calvary Church, Sparta, IL, with Pastor Gerald McElroy and Pastor Tim McIntyre officiating. Burial to follow at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Calvary Church, where friends may call from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.
