Linda Fay Jerashen, 64, formerly of Nashville, IL, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, in DuQuoin, Illinois. She was a beloved mother and cherished grandmother, whose unwavering love, gentle guidance, and warm spirit touched everyone around her.

Linda was born on November 9, 1960, in Murphysboro, IL, the daughter of Homer and Fay E. (Qualls) Froemling. Linda was a Retired Office Manager. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL. Linda was very creative, especially when it came to making jewelry, which was one of her favorite hobbies. She enjoyed selling her trinkets and giving them away as gifts. Linda was a natural born organizer and was always up for an adventure, whether it was yard saling or placing sandbags along the Mississippi River. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her parents, Homer & Fay Froemling of Ava, IL, her children: Jessica (Billy) Collins of O'Fallon, IL, Greg Jerashen of Ashley, IL, Krystal (Doug) Althoff of Nashville, IL; her grandchildren: Molly Althoff, Miles Jerashen, Grant Jerashen, William Collins; her siblings: Brenda Carnahan of Russellville, AR, Vickie Dagner of Ava, IL, Karla Dillow of Ava, IL, Donna Rubach of Jackson, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her good friend, Marlene Geppert.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL, with Deacon Ben Nikodyn and Minister Debra Rathert officiating. Burial to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday morning, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Church. Memorials may be given to the Michael J.
