AVA – Linda Sue Armstrong, 74, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home in Ava, Illinois.

Linda was born on January 8, 1950, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Carl and Erna (Fahr) Walkenhorst. She was married to James Buttry and then to Richard Armstrong. Linda was a member of Kinkaid Christian Fellowship, Ava, IL.

Linda is survived by her son, Brett Buttry of Fenton, MO, her grandchildren: Cassie Orion, Ashlyn Guinn, James Guinn, Carl Guinn, Jr.; and her brother, Ted Walkenhorst of St. Peters, MO.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Armstrong, a daughter, Keri, and a son, Carl Buttry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
