STEELEVILLE, Lillie Busche, 93, of Steeleville, passed away at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 26, 2010, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born July 02, 1917 in Palestine, Illinois the daughter of Henry Wagner and Alice (Knop) Wagner. Lillie married Wilbert H. Busche on April 19, 1936 in Steeleville, Illinois. Wilbert passed away on March 30, 1981. Mrs. Busche worked at the International Shoe Co. and later retired from Egyptian Electric Coop in Steeleville, IL. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL, Alter Guild and Choir, St Mark's Pricilla Club and Ladies Aid as well as a church greeter. She is survived by her three daughters: Mary Lou Goetting of Willisville, IL, Loretta and Virgil Eggemeyer of Joliet, IL ,and Carolyn and Junior Salger of Salem, IL; Eight grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; Three great great grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Wagner of Chester, IL; one sister-in-law: Olinda Wagner of Chester, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Wilbert Ray Busche, two great grandchildren, two brothers, six sisters and one son-in-law, Edward C. Goetting. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Wednesday from 5-8 PM then on Thursday from 7:30 to noon and then from 1 to 2pm at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Vicar Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
