PERCY – Lila L. Ashby, 83, of Percy, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in Sparta, IL.

Lila was born April 29, 1938, in Percy, IL, to Kenneth and Marie Gerberding Fisk. She married Floyd E. Ashby on April 6, 1955, in Taylor City, MI. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. Lila was a retired receptionist for Dr. Vidal. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Percy, IL, The Red Hatters, former member of the Percy Village Board, and helped with Percy Food Pantry.

Lila is survived by her children: Randy (Connie) Ashby of Percy, IL, Danny (Janet) Ashby of Pinckneyville, IL, Jack (Gail) Ashby of Perryville, MO; nine grandchildren, brothers: Arlin (Bonnie) Fisk of Percy, IL, Stanley Fisk of Florida; sister, Barbara (Larry) Phillips of Zephyr Hills, FL.

Lila is also preceded in death by her parents, and son Jerry.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Percy, IL with Reverend Steve Duncan officiating. Friends may call 9-10 am, Saturday, at the church. Memorials may be given to a Love fund for the Ashby family and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
