AVA – Lester Dean Kilpatrick, 62, of Ava, Illinois, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home in Ava, Illinois.

Lester was born February 6, 1959, in Murphysboro, IL, to Bobbie and Etta Marie Green Kilpatrick.  Lester was a member of Jubilee Tabernacle Church in Desoto, IL.

Lester is survived by his children; Jessica (Chris) Congiardo of Perryville, MO, Jeff (Lauren Mulholland) Kilpatrick of Imperial, MO, and Samuel Kilpatrick of Vergennes, IL, four grandchildren; Chloe Kilpatrick, Dax and Amelia Congiardo, and Ryker Kilpatrick, his father, Bob Kilpatrick of Ava, IL, brothers; Randy Kilpatrick, Everett Kilpatrick, Carl Kilpatrick, and Roger Kilpatrick, sisters; Brenda Lage and Beth Berry.

Lester is preceded in death by his mother, Etta Marie Green Kilpatrick and sister, Linda Childers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 13, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL. Burial to follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL.  Friends may call 12 - 2 pm on Monday.  Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the family and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
