PERCY - Leslie Joseph Taylor Jr., 56, of Percy, passed away at Monday, July 07, 2008, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion, IL. He was born June 13, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of Leslie Joseph Taylor and Lila (Smith) Taylor. He married Diane Disque in Las Vegas, NV. He was a Security Guard. He served in the Air Force during Vietnan. He was a member of the VFW Post in California. He is survived by his wife Diane Taylor of Percy, IL; three sons, Leslie J. Taylor III of Pinckneyville, Raymond James Taylor of Percy, Timothy Lucas Taylor of Percy; five grandchildren; one brother, James Taylor of Costa Mesa, CA; two sisters, Debra Byrd of Downey, CA, and Janet Gnerlich of North Ridge, CA. He was preceded in death by his father Leslie Taylor, and his mother Lila Smith. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Mr. Taylor's wishes were to be cremated.
