MURPPHYSBORO – Leslie Ann Bryant, 55, of Murphysboro, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Murphysboro, Illinois.

Leslie was born on April 7, 1970, in Carbondale, IL, the daughter of Lester and Patricia (Morefield) Johnson. She married Denny L. Bryant on April 24, 1987, in Murphysboro, IL. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2021. Leslie was employed at Penn Aluminum, Murphysboro, IL, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Murphysboro, IL.

Leslie is survived by her children: Colin (Emma) Bryant of Nashville, TN, Courtney Bryant of Murphysboro, IL; her mother, Patricia Johnson of Murphysboro, IL, and her brother Marc Johnson of Murphysboro, IL.

Leslie was also preceded in death by her father, Lester Johnson.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Murphysboro, IL, with Rev. Gary Darnell officiating. Memorials may be given to Pleasant Hill Cemetery and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
