CAMPBELL HILL – Leonard A. Priebe, 86, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 11:15 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Anna.

Leonard was born in Jackson County, Illinois, on December 14, 1933, the son of Herman A. and Hulda Nora Sickmeyer Priebe.  He married Evelyn E. Guetersloh on April 21, 1956, at Christ Lutheran Church, Neunert.  She preceded him in death on October 7, 2008.  Leonard was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill; Kaskaskia VFW Post #3553, Chester, and the American Legion Post #133, Perryville.

Leonard is survived by three sons, John (Beth) Priebe of Pinckneyville, Robert (Rhonda) Priebe of Campbell Hill, and Stephen (Diann) Priebe of Pinckneyville; daughter-in-law, Mary Priebe of Percy; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene David of Campbell Hill.

Leonard was also preceded in death by his Parents; one son, Terry Priebe; one sister, Lois Bollmann; and one brother, Eugene Priebe.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private graveside service will be held at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, with Bro. Rob Mathis officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to St. Jude's.
