STEELEVILLE, Lela Bollmann, 97, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:45 A.M. Monday, February 23, 2009, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, IL. She was born October 20, 1911 in Percy, Illinois the daughter of Fritz Schuette and Dorothea (Meyerhoff) Schuette. She married Wilbert E. Bollmann on June 1, 1941 in Steeleville, Illinois. He passed away on October 9, 1984. Lela was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL. She retired from Randolph County Care Center as a cook. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke of St. Marks's Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 7:30 to 10:30 am. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church Roof Fund or to The Lutheran Hour.
