CUTLER, LeeRoy U. Mitchell Jr., 64, of Cutler, passed away at 12:18 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville, IL. He was born July 8, 1945 in Needles, California the son of LeeRoy U Mitchell Sr. and Barbara (Stewart) Mitchell. LeeRoy married Dorothy M. Shaw on November 30, 1985 in Bremen, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Mitchell of Cutler, IL; children: Tina Rednour Wagoner of Las Vegas, NV, Timmy Wagoner of Cutler, IL; two grandchildren: Katie Wagoner and Makenzie Rednour; one god child: Steven Ingram; brother: Jack Mitchell of Percy, IL. LeeRoy is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Mitchell served in the U.S. Marine Corp., during the Vietnam Conflict. He was also a retired Security Therapy Aid from Chester Mental Health. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Edwin Reuter will be officiating. Burial will be at Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, Illinois. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 5-8 PM Memorials may be made to the family.
