STEELEVILLE - Leah L. Mueller, 55, of Steeleville, passed away at 10:56 am, Monday, August 19, 2013 at her home in Steeleville. Leah was born in Red Bud, Illinois on November 23, 1957, the daughter of Ralph W. and Lila R. Detgen Mueller. She was an LPN at The Manor at Craig Farm in Chester and was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Leah was survived by two sons, Alex (Kaitlin Edwards) Behnken of Steeleville and Joel Behnken of Steeleville; three brothers, Ralph Brad (Barb) Mueller of Chester, Neal Mueller of Green River, WY and Jon (Patti) Mueller of Steeleville; and several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Leah was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. Bruce Cameron officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Wine Hill. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family.
