WILLISVILLE, Larry Dale Rice Sr., 53, of Willisville, passed away at 12:20 P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2010, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, IL. He was born September 17, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Harold Rice and Virginia (Presswood) Rice. Larry married Connie T. Braun on December 12, 1987 in St. Louis, MO. He worked as a construction laborer. He is survived by his wife Connie Rice of Willisville, IL; Three children: Larry Dale Rice Jr. of Willisville, IL, Justin Michael Rice of Willisville, IL, Tabitha Marie Rice of Willisville, IL; two grandchildren: Aiden Cole Rice of Sesser, IL and Trenton Ray Tindall of Willisville, IL; parents: Harold and Virginia Rice of Willisville, IL; sister: Margaret MacNutt of O'Fallon, MO; brothers: Jerry Rice of Zeigler, IL, and Terry James Rice of Washington, MO. Larry is preceded in death by two brothers: Harold Rice Jr. and Ricky Lee Rice; two sisters: Zelma Douglas and Deanna Lynn Rice. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Steve Duncan will be officiating. Burial will be at Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and then on Wednesday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
