SPARTA – Kolton James Wanless, of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL.

Kolton was born December 27, 2019, in Carbondale, IL, to Michael and Brittany Seyferth Wanless. Kolton was a member of Loyalty Baptist Church, Eden, IL.

Kolton is survived by his parents, Michael Wanless of Ava, IL and Brittany Wanless of Sparta, IL, sister, Faithlynn Wanless, grandparents: Roger and Michele Seyferth of Sparta, IL, Roy and Susan Wanless of Ava, IL; great grandmothers: Shirley Seyferth of Sparta, IL, Wilma Cross of Ava, IL; aunts and uncles: Ashley (Jason) Westenberger of Sparta, IL, Susan Seyferth of Sparta, IL, Paul Seyferth of Fayetteville, NC, David (Barb) Seyferth of Sparta, IL, Danny Seyferth of Sparta, IL, Jessica (Jeremy) Duke of Ava, IL; great aunts and uncles, cousins, kids at babysitters, and special friends, David and Cathy Adams of Sparta, IL.

Kolton is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Allen Cross and Charles Seyferth and great grandmother, Donna Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Rev. Matt Collins officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, where friends may call from 10 - 1 pm.
