AVA - Kjuan W. Lissimore, 42, of Ava, passed away at 1:58 am, on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro. Kjuan was born in White Plains, New York on April 11, 1972, the son of Ronald Rainey and Denise Lissimore. He married Dawn Bramlett on December 14, 2001. Kjuan was a member of the Ossining Gospel Assembly in Ossining, New York and the Ironworkers Local #782 in Paducah, KY. Kjuan is survived by his wife, Dawn Lissimore of Ava, IL; sons, Lukis and Nikolis Lissimore of Ava; mother, Denise Lissimore of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; father, Ronald Rainey of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; sisters, Kimesha Lissimore of Stanford, CT, Nia Lissimore of Portsmouth, VA, brothers, Desean Lissimore of Ossining, NY, Ronald Rainey, Jr. of Ossining, NY; father-in-law, Philip, Sr. (Gena) Bramlett of Ava; Sister-in-law, Sharon McComb of Ava; brother-in-law, Philip, Jr. (Mindy) Bramlett of Campbell Hill; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Kjuan was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Wendell Lissimore and Joseph Rainey, Sr. of New York; his half-sister, Kelli Rainey of New York; mother-in-law, Kathy Bramlett; and nephew, Brian Modglin, Jr. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Deb Rathert, Lay Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call on Wednesday from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to the Family.
