SPARTA - Mr. Kenneth E. Wilson 86 of Sparta, Illinois entered into rest on November 20, 2017 in Aviston, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by Myrtle (Hendricks) Wilson, his wife of sixty-one years and his parents Lloyd Wilson and Esther Harvel. Kenneth resided with his family in Sparta and worked for many years for the railroad. He is survived by his children Steven Wilson of Sparta and Linda (Mike) Buss of Highland, Illinois. Grandchildren are Kyle (Jennifer) Wilson of Lebanon, Illinois; Bethany Wagner of Red Bud, Illinois; Alyssa Wilson of Chester; Lindsey (Brandon) Hughes of Mayfield, Kentucky and Mikel Buss of Aviston, Illinois. Great grandchildren include Mary Cailin and Ava Wagner, Zachary Wilson, Carter Hughes and Bryar Mueller.

Kenneth will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at Union Cemetery, Sparta. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
